In 2018, the military counterintelligence service of the SBU State Security Service of Ukraine detained 54 members of the illegitimate armed formations in Donbas, a statement on the SBU’s website says.
“Some 152 members of terrorist organizations from the self-proclaimed ‘Luhansk and Donetsk People’s Republics’ were exposed and 54 of them were detained in 2018,” the statement says.
Also, according to information from the main directorate of the military counterintelligence service, “some 850 criminal proceedings were initiated and 144 judgments of conviction came into effect,” the statement reads.
