Ukraine’s fifth president Petro Poroshenko is to appear for questioning by the State Bureau of Investigation on August 12.

“Poroshenko was summoned for questioning on August 12,” a spokesman told Interfax-Ukraine.

The questioning is due to begin at 9:30 a.m.

It was reported that on July 25 Poroshenko was questioned by the Bureau as a witness and received a summons for another questioning.

After the questioning Poroshenko told journalists that he had given explanations regarding the sale of the Kyiv-based Kuznya on Rybalsky shipyard.
