The residents of Balaklia, who suffered from explosions at the military arsenal, have been provided with humanitarian aid, the State Emergencies Service said.

“The State Emergencies Service organized a one-time hot meal for residents of the most affected areas of the town of Balaklia. In addition, distribution of food kits is being carried out at two stationary points of humanitarian assistance to the affected population. The mobile dispatching point for targeted humanitarian aid was organized. Some 900 grocery kits were distributed,” a report says on the website of the department.

Local authorities also commissioned a survey of damaged buildings in the town and the district to determine the extent of destruction. A total of 39 groups have been created for a commission survey consisting of representatives of design organizations, workers of district state administration and deputies of the town council.
