You're reading: Stepanov: Observers in special polling stations must pass PCR test

Observers, members of the commission in special polling stations, in particular, medical institutions and pretrial detention centers, must pass a PCR test, Health Minister Maksym Stepanov said during a press briefing in Kyiv on Oct. 23.

“In special polling stations created in hospitals of medical institutions, penitentiary institutions, pretrial detention centers, members of the election commission, official observers, police officers and other persons ensuring the electoral process, staying at the premises of the election commission, the polling station are recommended to undergo PCR testing no later than 72 hours before election day,” he said.
