BRUSSELS – NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg has said he had a telephone conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on the eve of the summit of the heads of the North Atlantic Alliance, on June 10.
”Spoke with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky of our valued partner Ukraine. We discussed the upcoming NATO Summit, the security situation in the region & Russia’s unacceptable military build-up. I stressed our continued political & practical support & encouraged their reform process,” Stoltenberg wrote on Twitter.
The NATO summit is scheduled for June 14.
