The COVID-19 toll in Kyiv allows switching to the next stage of easing of the quarantine restrictions, acting first deputy head of Kyiv City State Administration Valentyn Mondriyevsky said.
“A decision was taken to switch to the next stage of easing of the quarantine measures in Kyiv. It means that since today’s noon, the shops with a total area of up to 1,000 square meters, as well as those inside the buildings with the individual exits, will resume their operation. Since 12.00 o’clock, all surface transport will work in the ordinary mode,” he said at a briefing in Kyiv on May 23 following the outcomes of the meeting of the capital’s emergency committee.
