Nestle, a large world’s food producer, has installed a new waffle line at Svitoch factory in Lviv with an annual capacity of 4,000 tonnes of waffles.

The company said that this is the third technological line at the confectionary factory. It can produce up to 6 tonnes of products during one shift.

The total cost of the project is Hr 125 million. It has been realized since summer 2016.

The first waffle line was installed at Svitoch in 2000 and the second – in 2012.

Today, Svitoch Artek waffles is a leader on the Ukrainian packaged waffle market with over 60 percent of the market share.

Svitoch is part of the Nestle group in Ukraine, which also includes Nestle Ukraine LLC, PJSC Volynholding (the Torchyn ketchup and mayonnaise brand), and Technokom LLC (the Mivina instant noodles brand).

Switzerland’s Nestlе started operating in Ukraine in 1994 when it opened a representative office. The company markets the following international brands: NESCAFÉ, Nesquik, Nuts, Friskies, and KitKat.
