Ukraine’s President Petro Poroshenko is pleased with the cooperation of the Ukrainian and Swedish military departments and speaks for the involvement of Swedish military personnel in the exchange of experience in one of the training centers in Ukraine.
“I am very pleased, dear ministers, with the cooperation that our defense departments have… I instructed the minister (Defense Minister Stepan Poltorak) and the chief of the General Staff (Viktor Muzhenko) to create all conditions for Swedish servicemen to be involved to the mission in the training center,” Poroshenko said at a meeting with Swedish Defense Minister Peter Hultqvist in Kyiv on March 5.
According to the president, Ukrainian soldiers will also share their experience with the Swedish counterparts, in particular in counteracting Russia’s hybrid aggression, in acting effectively in order to stop Russia-backed separatists.
