You're reading: The European Court for Human Rights schedules hearings on Crimea case

The European Court for Human Rights (ECHR), which is hearing the case Ukraine versus Russia on Crimea, has scheduled hearings for Sept. 11, Ukraine’s Deputy Justice Minister Ivan Lishchyna has said.

“The secretariat authorized to handing ECHR issues has received a letter, which we have waited for since February this year. The hearing of the acceptability of 20958/14 (on Crimea) is scheduled for Sept. 11, 2019. Keep your fingers crossed so that it will happen this time,” Lishchyna said on Facebook on May 15.
