You're reading: Tom Cruise meets with Lviv Mayor Sadovy

American actor, film director and producer Tom Cruise visited Lviv on Wednesday, where he met with mayor Andriy Sadovy and his wife Kateryna Kit-Sadova.

“Tom Cruise is in Lviv which means there will be a movie. P.S. He didn’t find Lviv metro, so he came to our balcony,” Sadovy wrote on his Facebook page.

According to the website of the Lviv City Council, the mayor presented the actor a commemorative coin of King Daniel of Galicia and a historical book by Serhiy Plohiy authorship.

Tom Cruise left an entry in the Book of Honored Guests of Lviv: “Thank you for hosting us in your beautiful city. A magical city, charming people, a magical country!”

In turn, Sadovy noted that Ukraine needs promotion.

“Today Tom Cruise saw Lviv, and he will see other locations in the city. And after that he wants to get to know our Carpathians,” the mayor said.

According to media reports, the American actor visited Odesa on Wednesday.

On September 30, Tom Cruise met with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, at the invitation of whom he arrived in Kyiv.

In addition, on October 1, the actor met with the Klitschkos brothers in Kyiv.
