Shipments of the Stugna and Corsar anti-tank missile systems produced by the Kyiv-based Luch State Design Bureau under the state military order will commence this year, National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) Secretary Oleksandr Turchynov has said.
“The Cabinet of Ministers yesterday changed the state defense budget order [for 2017], and this concerns the purchase of Stugna and Corsar [missile systems],” Turchynov told journalists during the opening of the first All-Ukrainian forum of private enterprises of the Ukrainian defense industrial complex on September 28.
Turchynov said that specifications of the new Ukrainian armaments equal the best western analogues.
