On February 6, some 13 attacks from Russia-occupation forces have been recorded in Donbas. Two Ukrainian servicemen were killed in an explosion on an unknown explosive device, another one was wounded; three soldiers were wounded as a result of the shelling, the JFO press center has said.

“On February 6, some 13 violations of the ceasefire were recorded,” the JFO headquarters said on Facebook on February 7.

In particular, with regard to the responsibility of the Skhid (East) task force, near Krasnohorivka, the enemy opened fire towards the Ukrainian positions using a 120-caliber mortar and heavy anti-tank grenade launchers. Not far from Vodiane on the Azov Sea, Russian-occupation forces opened fire several times from grenade launchers of various systems, large-caliber machine guns and small arms.

Near Pisky, the enemy repeatedly fired aimed fire from grenade launchers of various systems and small arms. As a result of the shelling, one Ukrainian defender was wounded. The soldier was promptly taken to a hospital where he needed medical care.

In the same direction in the area of Maryinka, three military personnel from the JFO were blown up by an unknown explosive device while moving into position. Two defenders died from the received wounds, doctors are fighting for the life of the third.

In the area of responsibility of the Pivnich (North) task force, near Novozvanivka and Pivdenne, the enemy fired several aimed shots at JFO positions from small arms. As a result of enemy shelling, two Ukrainian soldiers were wounded by gunshot. The servicemen were promptly delivered to medical facilities where they need medical assistance. The state of health of the defenders is satisfactory.

Near Luhanske, with the use of a hand-held anti-tank grenade launcher, the enemy remotely mined the area near the Ukrainian positions with POM-2 mines.

“Since the beginning of this day, on February 7, the situation in the area of operations controlled by the Ukrainian military, violations by the armed formations of the Russian Federation has not been recorded,” the headquarters said.
