Two soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) have been killed amid live-fire drills at a military training range near the town of Chuhuyiv, Kharkiv region, the AFU’s East operations center has reported.

“Two servicemen of the 54th separate mechanized brigade have been killed at the Chuhuivsky military range during combat training,” the East operations center said on its Facebook page on April 26.

According to the report, an investigation has already begun over the deaths.

“All the causes and circumstances of the tragedy will be established during the investigation, which began under supervision of the deputy commander of the troops of the East operations command,” the report says.
