Two Ukrainian soldiers were wounded in action amid hostilities in war zone in Donbas, eastern Ukraine, on Nov. 23.

“The Russian occupation forces violated the ceasefire seven times in the past day. Two members of the Joint Forces were wounded in action,” the press center of the Ukrainian army headquarters said in an evening update on Facebook on Nov. 23.

The Russia-backed separatists opened fire from grenade launchers of various systems, large-caliber machine guns to attack Ukrainian soldiers positions near the town of Maryinka, and the villages of Krymske, Pisky, and Berezove.

Proscribed weapons, namely 120mm mortars, as well as grenade launchers and anti-tank guided missiles were used by Russian-led forces near the village of Troyitske. Firing from a Degtyarev PTRD 1941 anti-tank rifle was also recorded in that area.

The press center of Ukrainian military said that the situation in the war zone is under control.
