You're reading: Tymoshenko leads in presidential rating, followed by Hrytsenko, Boiko, Liashko and Poroshenko

At the top of the presidential electoral polls are Batkivschyna party leader Yulia Tymoshenko, leader of the Civil Position party Anatoliy Hrytsenko and the Opposition Bloc party leader Yuriy Boiko, according to Seetarget.

The poll was conducted from July 26 through August 17, 2018 and its results presented on August 27 at Interfax-Ukraine. It found that 94.9 percent of respondents planned to vote in the next presidential election.

Of those, 17.9 percent of Ukrainians support Tymoshenko. Some 13.8 percent of those polled who plan to go to the polls are ready to vote for Hrytsenko . Boiko comes in third with 11.2 percent, Liashko has 9.8 percent, followed by incumbent President Petro Poroshenko, with 9.1 percent. Last is Rabinovych, with 6.2 percent support.

Some 16.9 percent of respondents who plan to vote said that they would support another politician who was not on the list of candiates, and nearly a third of respondents said they were not sure for whom they would vote.

The poll was conducted through face-to-face interviews in 24 regions of Ukraine and Kyiv city (the occupied areas of Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk regions were not included). Interviewers polled a total of 2,627 respondents from 63 cities and 105 rural areas. The survey’s margin of error is no more than 1.92 percent.
