Ukraine will not be represented at a meeting of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) Council of Heads of Government, which is expected to take place in the Russian city of Kazan on May 26.

There are no Ukrainian representatives on the list of participants in the session, which was circulated among journalists ahead of its start, an Interfax correspondent said.

Most of the other CIS member countries will be represented at the event either by their prime ministers or deputy prime ministers. Moldova will delegate its ambassador to Russia.
