As reported, on November 27, 2019, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the State Strategy for HIV/AIDS, TB and Viral Hepatitis Prevention until 2030.

One of the strategy’s priority tasks is the improvement of effective HIV detection through the expansion of the test lab network, promotion of self-testing and regular testing of risk groups.

In addition, the demand for antiretroviral therapy will be satisfied in full. A new epidemic control and viral hepatitis monitoring system will be created and the old one will be enhanced with the aim of reducing the number hepatitis B and C cases.
