The Ukrainian State Migration Service has decided on the basis of Ukrainian Security Service (SBU) materials to forcibly deport Russian journalist Margarita Bondar from this country.

“For violating the migration legislation the State Migration Service decided to forcibly expel Margarita Bondar from Ukraine before March 31 this year with a three-year ban on travel to this country,” the press center of the Ukrainian Security Service reported on March 27.

The journalist is charged with the online systematic dissemination of “the biased information on the public and political situation in Ukraine” on the order of “the Russian propagandistic publication Ukraina.ru” in 2018.

“In particular, she has published fake and provocative materials about violations of the rights of ethnic minorities by members of domestic nationalistic organizations and the alleged negligence of the Ukrainian law enforcement system,” the SBU press center reported.

The Ukrainian Culture Ministry came to an expert conclusion that the content of these publications promotes the instigation of interethnic strife and the destabilization of the public and political situation in this country, the special service said.
