Ukraine exported 43.022 million tonnes of grain from July 1, 2016, when the current marketing year 2016-2017 started, to June 21, 2017.
In particular, Ukraine shipped about 17.3 million tonnes of wheat, 5.3 million tonnes of barley, and 20.1 million tonnes of maize abroad over the period under review, the Ukrainian Agrarian Policy and Food Ministry said on its website on Wednesday, June 21.
What is more, Ukraine exported 368,000 tonnes of wheat by that date.
As was reported earlier with reference to the ministry, Ukraine exported 39.487 million tonnes in the 2015/2016 marketing year, which was 13.5% up on the previous season.
