Ukraine has imposed sanctions against Russian oil producer Bashneft.
According to Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko’s decree dated October 17, which enacted the Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council’s decision of Sept. 16, trade operations by Bashneft are restricted on Ukrainian territory.
Russia’s Rosneft last week closed a deal to buy 50.0755 percent of the shares in Bashneft.
