The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and Bulgaria intend in April to sign a declaration on ensuring the rights of persons belonging to the Bulgarian national minority.

“Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Liliya Hrynevych will visit Sofia on April 26 to sign a declaration on the protection of the rights of persons belonging to the Bulgarian national minority with the Minister of Education and Science of Bulgaria. The visit was agreed during the meeting of Liliya Hrynevych with Bulgaria’s Ambassador to Ukraine Krasimir Minchev,” the press service of the Education Ministry said.

During the meeting, Minchev noted that the promulgated action plan of the Ukrainian Ministry of Education regarding the language issue, in his opinion, preserves the opportunities for the development of the Bulgarian minority in Ukraine.
