You're reading: Ukraine intends to agree with Ecuador, Macedonia on visa free waiver

The Cabinet of Ministers has approved a draft agreement with Ecuador on the mutual abolition of visa requirements, as well as a draft agreement with Northern Macedonia on the conditions for mutual trips of citizens.

The corresponding decision was made at a government meeting on April 24, an Interfax-Ukraine correspondent reported.

Ukraine’s Ambassador to Peru, Ihor Tumasov, is authorized to sign an agreement with Ecuador, and Ukraine’s Ambassador to Macedonia, Natalia Zadorozhniuk, is authorized to enter into agreements with Northern Macedonia.

The draft agreement with Ecuador provides that Ukraine allows Ecuadorian citizens to remain on its territory for a period of up to 90 days, which is renewed for another 90 days during one year from the date of the first entry into the state. At the same time, the party of Ecuador establishes similar conditions for citizens of Ukraine.

The agreement with Northern Macedonia provides that citizens of the states of the parties to the contract can stay in the territory of another state without a visa for no more than 90 days for 180 days.
