You're reading: Ukraine, Israel lift restrictions on number of designated airlines between countries

Ukraine and Israel have removed the existing restrictions on the number of designated airlines for scheduled air services on the main route Kyiv – Tel Aviv – Kyiv and other routes between the two countries, as well as on arrival/departure points.

Head of the State Aviation Service of Ukraine Oleksandr Bilchuk on Dec. 13 signed a protocol, which replaces the annex to the agreement between the governments of Israel and Ukraine on air traffic, the press service of the agency reported.

In addition, the State Aviation Service has offered the Civil Aviation Authority of Israel to increase the frequency of flights on the route Kyiv – Tel Aviv – Kyiv to 31 flights a week, and on the route Lviv – Tel Aviv – Lviv, Zaporizhia – Tel Aviv – Zaporizhia to 14 flights per week, each.
