Ukraine received 159,000 doses of CoronaVac vaccine under the global COVAX mechanism, the Health Ministry of Ukraine said on Facebook.
According to the statement, like other vaccines and products under COVAX, Ukraine receives this batch free of charge.
UNICEF delivered the vaccine.
As part of COVAX, UNICEF has already delivered to Ukraine over 4.485 million doses of vaccines from various manufacturers (Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca, and CoronaVac).
