You're reading: Ukraine sees 0.6 percent rise in gas production in 2016

Natural gas production in Ukraine in first 11 months of 2016 grew by 0.6 percent, or 110 million cubic meters (mcm), year-over-year, to 18.28 billion cubic meters (bcm), the Ukrainian Energy and Coal Industry Ministry told Interfax-Ukraine.

NJSC Naftogaz Ukrainy’s enterprises reduced gas output by 0.9 percent, or 138.1 mcm, to 14.54 bcm. In particular, PJSC Ukrgazvydobuvannia produced 13.349 bcm of gas, and PJSC Ukrnafta’s output was 1.191 bcm.

Other producers boosted gas output by 7.1 percent, or 248.1 mcm, to 3.74 bcm in January-November 2016.

In 11 months of 2016, other large gas producers were PrJSC Naftogazvydobuvannia (1.487 bcm), ESKO-Pivnich LLC (559.853 mcm), PrJSC Ukrnaftoburinnia (276.708 mcm), PrJSC Natural Resources (207.87 mcm), KUB-Gas LLC (190.63 mcm), JV Poltava Petroleum Company (159.77 mcm), PrJSC Davon (114.012 mcm), First Ukrainian Petroleum Company (102.211 mcm), PrJSC Ukrgazvydobutok (97.803 mcm), Energia-95 LLC (83.023 mcm), Nadra Geoinvest LLC (82.791 mcm), Systemoilengineering LLC (68.682 mcm), Regal Petroleum LLC (57.791 mcm), PrJSC Plast with Strilkove gas field (30.96 mcm), Prom Energo Product LLC (27.95 mcm), Sirius 1 LLC (25.8 mcm), Pari (19.6 mcm), Ukrgas Invest LLC (16.77 mcm), Nadra Geocenter LLC (15.296mcm) and other companies.
