Ukraine’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs insists Russian occupation authorities must free Ilmi Umerov.
According to Umerov’s lawyer Mark Feygin, the deputy head of the Mejlis of Crimean Tatars, is being tortured in prison. Feygin has already turned to the European committee against torture and asked to intervene into the situation.
