The consolidated balance of payments of Ukraine in September 2020 had to a deficit of $2 billion, while in September 2019 the surplus was $93 million, according to preliminary data released by the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) on Oct. 30.
According to the data, the current account deficit of the balance of payments in September 2020 amounted to $211 million, which is 88.3% less than in September 2019 ($1.8 billion).
