You're reading: Culture Ministry puts five more Russian musicians, two actors on stoplist

The Ministry of Culture of Ukraine has included seven new names in the list of persons who pose a threat to Ukraine’s national security.

The updated list includes Russian musicians Aleksandr Minkov (Alexander Marshal), Alexei Dolmatov (Guf), Victoria Tsyganova, Alexander Buynov and Larisa Dolina, as well as actors Alexander Bashirov and Alisa Freindlich, under ministry order No. 184 dated March 6, which was posted on the ministry’s website on March 7.

The list of persons posing a threat to national security is made up by the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine on the basis of recommendations from the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine, the National Council of Ukraine on Television and Radio Broadcasting.

At the moment, the list includes 131 people.
