Ukraine’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Pavlo Klimkin has congratulated Mike Pompeo on becoming America’s 70th Secretary of State.
“Warmest congratulations to Mike Pompeo on assuming the office of U.S. Secretary of State! Ukraine & US [are] Strategic Partners & key allies in defending fundamental freedoms & shared values of democratic nations,” Klimkin tweeted on Friday.
As was reported, Pompeo was sworn in as the U.S. Secretary of State in Washington, D.C., on April 26, after the Senate voted to confirm him.
