You're reading: Prystaiko to visit Czech Republic

Foreign Minister of Ukraine Vadym Prystaiko will make a working visit to the Czech Republic on Feb. 4, the ministry’s press service has said.

During the visit, Prystaiko will hold talks with his Czech counterpart Tomas Petricek. He will also meet with Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babis and Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Parliament Radek Vondracek, the ministry said.

Special attention will be paid to the consolidation of efforts for peace building and security, as well as inter-parliamentary cooperation and bilateral trade and economic relations.

The Ukrainian and Czech foreign ministers will also speak at the inaugural meeting of the Ukrainian-Czech Forum, a discussion platform for the leading Ukrainian and Czech experts aimed at the development of recommendations for the governments and work on joint projects for better implementation of the potential of bilateral relations in various fields, the ministry said.
