You're reading: Ukraine’s National Police put Russian Sarkisov brothers on wanted list

Ukraine’s National Police have put Russian businessmen Sergey and Nikolai Sarkisov on the wanted list.

Information on the Sarkisovs wanted list is posted on the website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, in the list of “Persons hiding from the authorities.”

The article of the prosecution of Part 4 of Article 190 (fraud committed on a large scale or by an organized group) of Ukraine’s Criminal Code is indicated. The sanction of this article is punishable by imprisonment for a term of five to 12 years with confiscation of property.

The brothers went missing on September 24, 2018.

In addition, it is noted that the preventive measure was not applied to the Sarkisovs.

Sergei Sarkisov, born in 1959, is an entrepreneur, manager, film producer and film director, one of the main owners and chairman of the board of directors of the Russian insurance company RESO-Garantiya.

Nikolai Sarkisov, born in 1968, is one the principle owners and a member of the board of directors of RESO-Garantia.
