President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko says the development of a road map for further rapprochement with the European Union needs to start already now.

“It is important today to start developing a road map for making our dreams reality,” Poroshenko said at a joint press conference with President of the European Council Donald Tusk and President of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker in Kyiv on July 13.

In future, Ukraine plans to join the customs union with the EU, integrate into the Schengen zone, become part of the digital market and the energy union, Poroshenko said.
