ROSTOV-ON-DON – The North Caucasus District Military Court will continue hearing the case of Artur Panov, a 19-year-old Ukrainian citizen suspected of plotting a terror attack in Rostov-on-Don, on May 2, court press secretary Alyona Katkalo told Interfax.

“The suspect has been transferred. He is alive. The court will hold a hearing at 2 p.m. on Tuesday,” Katkalo said.

Some media said earlier that Panov had died of cardiac failure at the Rostov detention center.

The Rostov regional department of the Federal Penitentiary Service did not confirm these reports.

The rumors that Ukrainian citizen Artur Panov had died at the Rostov-on-Don detention center had also been refuted by Ukrainian Consul to Rostov-on-Don Vitaliy Konarsky.
