You're reading: Ukrainian-Israeli commission on trade, economic cooperation to meet on August 22

The tenth meeting of the joint Ukrainian-Israeli commission on trade and economic cooperation will be held in Kyiv on August 22.

According to the press service of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, the Ukrainian side of the commission is headed by Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin, Minister of Jerusalem Affairs and Minister of Environmental Protection Ze’ev Elkin presents the Israeli side.

“It is planned to hold talks on all the key issues of bilateral trade and economic cooperation, in particular, trade, attracting investments, cooperation in the financial, transport and medical spheres. Specific prospects for deepening cooperation in agriculture, water resources, and renewable sources of energy and energy efficiency will be specified,” the message says.

A protocol will be signed following the result of the meeting of the commission.

The Foreign Ministry also said that a meeting of working groups on cooperation in the field of tourism and standardization would be held on August 21.
