You're reading: Ukrainian military arrive in Germany for Combined Resolve-12 exercises

The Ukrainian combined unit of the Armed Forces has arrived at the base of the Joint Multinational Readiness Center in Hohenfels (Germany), where the Combined Resolve-12 multinational exercises begin.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Defense, more than 5,000 military personnel from 21 countries are participating in the Combined Resolve-12 multinational exercises, which will last in Bavaria until August 27. The preparatory stage is now underway.

This year, representatives of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will take part in the exercises as part of BLUFOR main multinational forces, OPFOR counter forces, as well as in the headquarters of the battalion, brigade and division.

In addition, the Ukrainian group of observers and instructors during the multinational exercises will traditionally evaluate the actions of the units according to NATO standards.
