KOLOMYIA – Only united Ukraine will be able to overcome any threats, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has said.

“When Ukraine is united, it can defend itself from any aggressor, even from the Russian Federation that has the biggest and the strongest army on the continent,” he said opening the new outpatient clinic of the central district hospital of Kolomyia on Friday.

According to Poroshenko, Ukraine has considerably increased the military budget and strengthened combat effectiveness of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Morale allowed Ukrainians to stop the enemy, liberate two thirds of Donbas and ensure restoration of infrastructure and powerful reforms, the president said.

He said that the Ukrainian reforms were praised by the international organizations – IMF, EBRD, partners from the European Commission, European Parliament and European Council.

According to Poroshenko, today everything depends on the community.

“We are ready to help. We are ready to make resolute efforts for every Ukrainian to have an opportunity to say that the situation is changing for the better every day,” he said.
