Illegal armed formations have shelled residential quarters in the village of Novoluhanske, Bakhmut district, Donetsk region, damaged gas pipe, power line pylon and windows of two houses, the Ukrainian side of the Joint Center on Control Coordination (JCCC) of the ceasefire in Donbas reported.

“The Ukrainian side of JCCC reported that at around 05:00 on August 12 the shelling in the area of the ATO forces positions near the village of Novoluhanske near Svitlodarsk hit the residential areas of the village. As a result of the shelling by unlawful armed groups of separate areas of Donetsk region uncontrolled by the government from infantry fighting vehicles, heavy machine antitank grenade launchers and small arms a gas pipe and a power line pylon were damaged in a residential building on Pushkin Lane, glass was broken, walls, veranda and fence were showered with shrapnel,” the Ukrainian side of the JCCC said in a statement on Facebook on Saturday.

In addition, windows were blown out in a VAZ-2106 passenger car parked near the house, fragments of anti-tank grenades damaged its wheels and body.
