The Russia-occupation forces violated the ceasefire regime in Donbas four times in the past 24 hours, one Ukrainian soldier was killed, the press center of the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) has reported.

“The enemy attacked our positions grenade launchers of various systems, heavy machine guns and small arms. Snipers also worked…As a result of the enemy’s shelling attacks today, on Jan. 22, one serviceman of the Joint Forces Operation was killed,” the JFO headquarters said in its update on Facebook on Jan. 22 morning.

In the area of responsibility of the Skhid (East) task force, Russia-backed separatists mounted two attacks near Pavlopil using light anti-tank grenade launchers, and near Talakivka using heavy machinegun, small arms and a sniper rifle.

In the area of responsibility of the Pivnich (North) task force, separatists mounted two attacks: near Mayorske using heavy machine gun, and near Shuma using automatic grenade machinegun.
