You're reading: Ukrainians to enjoy visa-free travel to Uruguay soon

Director of the Department of Consular Service of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry Serhiy Pohoreltsev has reached an agreement on the introduction of visa-free travel for citizens of Ukraine and Uruguay.

This agreement was reached following Pohoreltsev’s high-level meetings in Uruguay, in particular with the head of the migration service, senior officials of the Foreign Ministry, as well as with members of the parliament of Uruguay, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry’s press service has said.

“After all necessary formalities needed for signing and entering a relevant bilateral agreement into force, Uruguay will become another country where Ukrainian citizens can travel to without visas,” the press service said.
