The Consulate General of Ukraine in Frankfurt am Main has warned passengers planning to travel to this German city or go on transit via the Frankfurt airport to other destinations on Jan. 15 of a planned strike there and recommended rebooking their tickets.

The consulate general said in a post on Facebook that the security services of the Frankfurt airport will go on strike on Jan. 15.

“[Starting from] 8:00 p.m. hours local time on Jan. 15, passengers will not be able to pass security checks (including those in the transit zone) and thus will not be able to board their flights. The airport authorities have asked the passengers to have their tickets rebooked to other dates,” the consulate said.
