The Council of Paris has unanimously supported the granting of the title of honorary citizen to Ukrainian film director Oleg Sentsov.
“The Council of Paris has unanimously supported the granting of the title of honorary citizen of Paris to Oleg Sentsov! I thank Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo, as well as all those who supported this decision, for showing solidarity with the Ukrainian film director! We continue to fight for the release of all Ukrainian political prisoners of the Kremlin,” Ambassador of Ukraine to France Shamshur Oleh wrote on Twitter.
