UkrInform: Poroshenko congratulates occupied Yalta on its city day

The tourists near the monument to the Yalta conference featuring to Soviet leader Josef Stalin, Britain's Winston Churchill, and U.S. President Franklin D. Roosevelt in the annexed region of Crimea. The monument was opened on February 5th, 2015.

“Fascinating Yalta is a real pearl of Crimea. Crimea is a real pearl of the Ukrainian state. I am confident that a blue and yellow flag will be raised in Yalta and across Crimea and the Ukrainian hymn will be performed,” the Head of State posted on Facebook.

The Day of Yalta city is celebrated on the second Saturday in August.
