“The Ministry has prepared proposals on the imposition of sanctions on a number of legal entities, which contribute to the production of chemical products on the territory of the temporarily occupied Crimea in violation of the effective legislation of Ukraine and which sell these products on the territory of other countries,” the Ministry’s statement reads.

As the experts note, the chemical products are manufactured in violation of the established legal regime of the temporarily occupied territories and using illegally extracted subsoil resources that belong exclusively to Ukraine, in particular, natural gas and water from underground sources. Manufacturing of such products threatens life and health of Ukrainian citizens on both government-controlled and occupied territories.
