Ukrainian border guards came under provocative fire from small arms from Russian territory near the village of Ushakivka in Luhansk region on February 8, the press center of the Ukrainian Military headquarters has reported on its Facebook page.

“Today, at around 12.30 p.m., near the settlement of Ushakivka in Luhansk region, provocative shelling with the use of small arms was carried out from the territory of the Russian Federation in the direction of the units that ensure protection of the state border of Ukraine,” the report reads.
