“I need to assert that the Russian Federation again violates the international norms and obligations. The Ukrainian consul was not allowed to visit Pavlo Hryb. It is a gross violation of the provisions of Article 13 of the Consular Convention between Ukraine and the Russian Federation. It clearly stipulates that the consular officials have the right to visit the citizens of Ukraine in the places of their detention on the territory of the Russian Federation,” Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights Liudmyla Denisova posted on Facebook.
