You're reading: UNIAN: Belarus restricts poultry imports from Ukraine

The Republic of Belarus has introduced temporary restrictions on poultry imports from Odesa and Chernivtsi regions due to bird flu outbreaks, according to instructions dated Jan. 4, posted on the website of the Belarusian Agriculture and Food Ministry’s Veterinary and Food Control Department.

The ban is imposed on imports of live poultry and poultry meat, hatching eggs, down and feather; wild, zoo and circus birds; egg powder, egg melange, albumin, and other chicken egg processed products.
