The State Border Guard Service has refuted accusations by Belarus authorities claiming a Ukrainian DA-42 patrol plane violated the airspace of Belarus.
Oleh Slobodyan, a spokesman for the agency, said, “Regarding a possible violation of the airspace of Belarus by the patrol aircraft of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine … The DA-42 plane of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine on September 25 carried out a scheduled flight to monitor the state border in the area or responsibility of Chernihiv and Zhytomyr border detachments.”
