“A Ukrainian volunteer, a representative of one of the national charities, was killed at about 16:30 near the village of Krymske on February 17. Soldiers knew him as a true patriot, devoted to the idea of independence of Ukraine. We express our condolences to the relatives of the deceased volunteer,” the ATO press center posted on Facebook.
TheDefense Ministry also reported 73 shell attacks and four Ukrainian soldiers wounded in action in the past day. Two civilians were wounded as well in the town of Avdiyivka in Donbas.
