Estonian President Kersti Kaljulaid will be the first leader of a foreign state to visit the Ukrainian-controlled Donbas area, which was liberated by the Ukrainian army from the Russian occupation forces.
“The President of Estonia will be the first head of a foreign state that will visit the part of Donbas liberated from Russian invaders,” Ukrainian presidential press secretary Svyatoslav Tsegolko said on Twitter on May 22.
