Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko says he welcomes the decision by the Council of the European Union to impose sanctions against five persons responsible for illegal holding of Russian presidential elections in Crimea.
“I welcome the EU Council’s official decision to impose sanctions against five persons responsible for illegal holding of presidential elections in temporarily occupied Crimea and Sevastopol,” he wrote on Facebook on May 14.
